Counterfeit Money Passed At Greenville Moto Mart

The Greenville Police Department is investigating a report of counterfeit money passed over the weekend at Moto Mart in Greenville.

Greenville Chief of Police Lou Lorton said an assistant manager told police on Monday morning that the business received counterfeit ten dollar and twenty dollar bills, possibly on Saturday.

According to Lorton, the department has received no other reports of counterfeit money passed elsewhere in Greenville around the same time, and there are no suspects in the Moto Mart case.
