First Of Two Bicentennial Books Now Available

The Greenville Bicentennial Committee will release two books this year, detailing the history of the City of Greenville.

The first book is now available and is a re-print of a Greenville history written by Will Carson. John Coleman of the Bicentennial Committee told us more about it:

You’re invited to a special presentation on the Will Carson book Thursday, April 9 at 7:00 p.m. at the Bradford Community Building. Coleman and fellow historian Kevin Kaegy will share information on the book. Tickets to the event are $8 and proceeds benefit the Greenville Public Library summer reading program. You can purchase tickets at the library or at Watson’s Health Mart Drug Store.

The Bicentennial Committee is currently working on their second book release, which will detail Greenville history from 1905 to the present.
