The Greenville High School robotics team was successful in the recent competition at SIU-Edwardsville. Coach Chris Ziemba said the students were divided into two squads and competed against about 20 other schools.
One GHS team finished in the top third and the other was in the top half.
Coach Ziemba said in the competition each team is provided a set of components (motors, cameras, sensors, etc.) and they must build and program a device of their choosing. The robots then must act autonomously and accomplish specified tasks. Click below to hear more:

A total of 18 GHS students were in the competition at SIU-E.
