GHS Student Art To Be Shown At Lincoln Library

A piece of art created by Greenville High School junior Emily Petroline has been selected to go on display as part of the Abraham Lincoln Presidential Library and Museum’s 10 Anniversary Art Contest.

Emily’s piece was one of eighteen chosen from more than 1,200 entries. It was also chosen to be featured in a membership newsletter.

The display will open at the library and museum in Springfield on April 19 and remain there through the end of the year. A picture of Emily’s piece is on display by the office.

Emily is the daughter of Dena and Phillip Petroline of Sorento.
