Greenville History Program Held To Benefit Library

The Greenville Public Library sponsored a program Thursday night about the first 90 years of Greenville’s History presented by John Coleman and Kevin Kaegy with the Bond County Historical Society. Proceeds from the event will benefit the library’s summer reading program.

Much of the information for Thursday’s program came from a book by former Greenville Advocate publisher Will C. Carson written in 1905. We talked to Kevin Kaegy about the program:
