Mulberry Grove Fire Chief Praises School, Departments On Tuesday’s Evacuation

On Tuesday morning, April 7, Mulberry Grove, Keyesport, and Greenville firefighters responded to a fire in the ag shop area of the Mulberry Grove school building. Students were evacuated and while the building sustained damage, no one was injured.

Mulberry Grove Fire Chief Dwight Volkmar told WGEL he was grateful to the other fire departments for their assistance and said thanks to an organized effort by school officials, a bad situation turned out as well as possible:
