
The Bond County Community Unit 2 Board of Education has a new president and vice president after it reorganized Monday night.
Edmar Schreiber is the new president, replacing Jay Young. Schreiber received four votes for the position while Nate Prater received three.
For vice president, Frank Doll was selected by his fellow board members with four votes while Prater had three votes.
Prater was re-elected board secretary.

Taking the oath of office to begin their first terms on the board were Doll, Greg Zykan and Randi Workman. They were successful candidates in the April election. Prater was re-elected to his second term.

Three men leaving the Unit 2 Board, Scott Gaffner, James Jackson and Vance Daniken, were recognized for their service.
