40 For The 4th Club Returns

The second annual Fourth Fest, the annual July 4th celebration at Patriot’s Park in Greenville, is quickly approaching.

The Bond County Independence Day Festival Association, the group planning the Fourth Fest, is again offering a way to help defray the cost of purchasing fireworks for the event.

For a forty dollar donation to the association, the donor becomes a member of the “40 for the 4th Club,” which entitles them to a commemorative t-shirt and VIP perks at the Fourth Fest.

To become a member of the “40 for the 4th Club,” pick up a form at the Greenville Chamber of Commerce office, 109 W. Main Street or call Patti at 960-4789.

Last year marked the return of the fireworks after a two year hiatus. The Bond County Fourth Fest will include music, food, and activities for all ages. Central States Fireworks of Albers is back as the provider of the boom and flash for the show. The projected cost for the fireworks is $10,000.
