A wish came true this week for a Greenville girl.
Joe Best, of Greenville, told WGEL that he recently asked his daughter what she wanted for her fifth birthday. Her wishes were a party at Patriot’s Park, to hang out with Anna and Elsa from the Disney movie “Frozen”, and to meet country music star Kenney Chesney.
The first request was easy enough. And Joe said he made arrangements for Anna and Elsa to accompany him and his daughter to Six Flags last weekend.
As Joe told us, the tough wish was meeting Kenny Chesney:
The Kenny Chesney concert was Wednesday night at the Scottrade Center in St. Louis.
You may also recall a story WGEL ran last year; when McKayla turned four, her dad took her to see Brad Paisley. While they didn’t hold up a birthday sign that year, Paisley noticed McKayla and gave her his guitar.
Joe told us he wasn’t sure how he was going to top those experiences for McKayla’s sixth birthday, but one thing is for sure; she’s got the beginnings of quite an impressive guitar collection.
