Greenville Resident Takes Oliver Farm Equipment Expertise To Scotland

Sherry Schaefer of Greenville is a leading historian and expert on the Oliver Farm Equipment Company.

She recently took a trip to Scotland, the birthplace of the company’s founder, James Oliver. He moved to the United States in 1835 and later started the company.

Schaefer owns a large collection of Oliver literature, has written several books about Oliver and the company, and her local business, 3-Point Ink, publishes the magazine “Oliver Heritage.”
