The City of Greenville is now offering an E-billing program for city water and sewer service bills.
Jody Weiss, executive assistant for the city, said the convenience to residents is a major advantage. Click below to hear more:
Citizens can pay with Visa, MasterCard or Discover cards. There is a 2.75 per cent convenience fee with an additional 50 cents, if the bill is under $100. They can also pay with an E-check for an additional $1 convenience fee. Viewing bills and the amount due online is a free service. Convenience fees do not go to the city. The website is Greenvilleillinois.com.
This week, the city is mailing postcards about the program to each household. An information sheet will be included in the water bills sent at the end of the month, and the insert will also be able to be seen on the website.
