Mulberry Grove District Gets Third State Aid Payment

At the Mulberry Grove Board of Education meeting Monday, Superintendent Brad Turner reported the district received the third categorical state aid payment of about $80,000.00 for transportation and special education. Turner said the fourth categorical payment for special education is slated for the end of June but he does not expect a fourth payment for transportation. On June 17, the Illinois State Board of Education is to vote on changing the way state aid is prorated. If passed, this new method could have a positive impact on the Mulberry Grove District.

Elementary Awards Day is Friday, May 29 at 9:00 a.m. in the Elementary Gym.
