Official Urges Motorists To Beware Of Flooding On Roadways

Earlier this week, WGEL reported on a person in Clinton County who drowned when his car was swept away by flood waters.

Bond County Coroner and former police sergeant Tony Brooks urges area drivers to respect flood waters when they come upon them.

Brooks provided tips to follow when threatening weather is approaching.

Brooks said motorists should be especially careful at night when flooding of roads occurs.
