Unit 2 Board Receives Bad News In EAV Report

Bond County Community Unit 2 Superintendent Jeff Strieker advised the school board at Monday night’s meeting, that preliminary information received from the county about equalized assessed valuation, is not good for the district.

He has heard a negative multiplier is possible. The entire scenario could result in Unit 2 losing over $200,000. Click below to hear more:

The district is still hoping more state funds with be forthcoming. During his financial report, Strieker said the overall budget, as of April 30, was about $1.5 million less than at the same time last year.
