Corps Of Engineers: “Carlyle Lake Facing Issues With Quantity, Not Quality”


The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers at Carlyle Lake is sending a message that there is no problem with the quality of the water in the lake.

Joe Smothers, Natural Resource Specialist at Carlyle Lake for the Corps’ St. Louis District, told WGEL about some recent public concerns he says are unfounded. Click below to hear more:

Smothers said representatives of the Corps of Engineer’s District Office Water Quality Division also monitor additional levels and all are in compliance.
