Large Parade Planned For Greenville Bicentennial

The Marching Illini, one of the featured attractions at the upcoming Greenville Bicentennial Parade

Plans are well underway for the Greenville Bicentennial parade to be held Sunday, September 6 at 3 p.m.

It will begin near the intersection of College Avenue and Elm Street, go west on College to Second Street, south on Second to Winter Avenue, then back to the starting location.

Allan Davis, parade coordinator, said entries are now being accepted for the parade. Click below to hear more:

No large commercial vehicles will be allowed.

Davis said several participants have already been confirmed, including many Shriner units. Click below for more:
