Moonlight Bike Ride Held To Benefit Fireworks

The first moonlight bicycle ride was held Saturday night by the Bond County Independence Day Festival Association.

It was a fundraising event, with the proceeds used to help pay for the Fourth of July celebration at Patriot’s Park.

The ride began and ended at Jaycee Park. Bicycle riders followed a designated route to the west side of the city and returned to the park for hot dogs, s‘mores, and drinks.
