Sheriff Offers Motorcycle Safety Tips


Following numerous fatal motorcycle accidents in the last few weeks in the WGEL listening area, Bond County Sheriff Jeff Brown is offering some safety tips to motorcycle riders.

Brown said someone on a motorcycle has a 30% greater chance of being involved in a fatal accident than a motorist driving a car. He said while motorcycling is a great hobby and an activity that is loved by many, 4 wheels are simply safer than two.
