Windsor Development To Be Topic Of Special City Council Meeting

On June 1 the Greenville Plan Commission made a recommendation to the Greenville City Council to deny the preliminary plat for the Windsor Development Subdivision on the east side of the city. A public hearing was held by the commission.

It was originally thought the recommendation would be considered at Tuesday night’s council meeting, but the topic is not on the agenda. The council has scheduled a special meeting for Tuesday, June 23 to conduct a public hearing on the preliminary plat.

City Manager Dave Willey told WGEL about the special meeting and said anyone will be allowed to speak during the public hearing:

The city manager also addressed what action could be taken by the council after the public hearing portion of the meeting:

The special meeting is June 23 at 7 p.m. in the Greenville Municipal building.
