Dust And Son To Proceed With Phase II Environmental Study

It was announced within the past year that Dollar General might be moving into a new building to be built in the 300 block of South Third Street in Greenville.

The proposed project came to a halt when it was learned a phase two environmental study had to be conducted and no one wanted to pay the thousands of dollars for it.

Greenville City Manager Dave Willey told WGEL the owner of the property, Dust and Son, has decided to proceed with the phase two study. Click below to hear more:

The city manager said the cost for the phase two study is $20,000 to $25,000.
