John Goldsmith of Greenville is leaving his positions as the executive director of the Greenville Chamber of Commerce and Greenville tourism.
He has been hired, effective August 1, as the marketing director for First National Bank.

Goldsmith has been in his Chamber and tourism positions since September of 2011. He is proud of what has been accomplished in the past four years.

Goldsmith served as executive director of the National Road Association of Illinois from 2007 to 2012 and for over 20 years was heard on WGEL. He is the volunteer curator of the DeMoulin Museum.

Mike Radliff, president of First National Bank, said he is excited to welcome Goldsmith as marketing director. He said, “John has a drive and source of energy that we believe blends very well with the traditions and aspirations The First National Bank.”

The bank has seven facilities in Greenville, Mulberry Grove, Vandalia, Ramsey and Patoka.
