Greenville Police Investigate Two Burglary Reports

Information is available concerning reports of burglary and an attempted burglary in Greenville. According to Sergeant Deb Keserauskis, of the Greenville Police Department, Wednesday, July 29, someone gained entry to a residence on East Main Street and took a sword, valued at approximately $100.00. There was evidence of forced entry with damage to a door. Police are investigating.

Greenville Police received a call Wednesday afternoon, of an attempted entry to a residence on Vine Street. According to Sergeant Keserauskis, the home owner called police when they thought they heard someone trying to get into the home through a window. Police investigated and found no one in the area. No one entered the home and nothing was missing.
