When Rachel Heston-Davis of Edwardsville attended the ceremony Tuesday night to open the Greenville 1990 time capsule, she fulfilled a promise she made with a childhood friend.

Heston-Davis is an adjunct professor at Greenville College. She is the daughter of John and Sue Heston of Greenville.
