The Bond County Military Moms organization is asking all Bond County veterans and active military personnel to submit their contact information and a photo by Friday, July 31. Forms for both vets and active personnel are available online at militarymomsofboco.com.
Contact information will be used as a resource for parents and will allow the Military Moms to recognize them during the Greenville Bicentennial on Labor Day Weekend and on Veteran’s Day in November. A book containing photos is being planned for a Veteran’s Day release date and a military discount will be offered at some local businesses September 5 through November 12. Additionally, care packages are sent to active military personnel from the Military Moms at Christmas.
