New Scholarship At Kaskaskia College

The Kaskaskia College Foundation is offering the Barton-Gambetta Scholarship for a deserving student beginning the fall 2016 semester.

The endowed scholarship is in honor of Mr. James R. Gambetta who was a faculty member of the Odin and Sandoval schools for 31 years. After graduating from Sandoval High School, he served in the United States Marine Corps as an enlisted Marine and an officer, then established several successful businesses including the Peak Technical Institute.

Mr. Gambetta was an advocate of higher education and this scholarship will help provide educational opportunities to deserving students.
