Property Tax Bills Are On The Way

Tax bills, ready to be sent out, from the Bond County Treasurer's Office

Bond County residents can expect their real estate tax bills to arrive in the mail later this week.

Payments can be mailed or made in person at the treasurer’s office, 200 West College Avenue in Greenville. The office is open 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. Monday through Friday.

They can also be made at the Greenville banks: Bradford National Bank, First National Bank, First Bank, and National Bank. The banks do not accept late payments. The back of the tax bill also provides information about how to pay by credit card.

Once again, the payment deadlines are August 31 for the first installment and September 30 for the second installment.
