Public Works Superintendent On Street Improvements

Crews repaved Main Street in front of the Greenville Post Office Wednesday.

Street improvements continue in the City of Greenville.

Asphalt has been laid on Shannon Drive, the south end of Durley Street and the south end of Fourth Street. On Wednesday, Main Avenue, in front of the post office and the library, was asphalted.

Bill Grider, city public works superintendent, said there is other work that will be done later this month.

State funds are covering the cost of the Rt. 127 project, which includes resurfacing the road through Greenville. The city road work is funded from the half-cent sales tax collected by local businesses.
