At Monday night’s Bond County Community Unit 2 school board meeting, Superintendent Jeff Strieker spoke about the district finances.
As of May 31, the district had an overall balance of $3.7 million in the nine funds, including $1.8 million in the education fund.

Unit 2 would see a state aid decreases because the average daily attendance is down and the district’s equalized assessed valuation increased last year. Those are factors in the state aide formula.
