Correction: Attorney Costs For Green Gables Consultation Does Include 7+ Hour Meeting

When public hearings were underway in Greenville regarding the Green Gables Subdivision, to be built on the east edge of Greenville, questions were raised by citizens about the cost to the city to have the law firm of Ancel Glink from Bloomington serve as a legal advisor to the city council.

An attorney from the law firm attended a couple of meetings and written opinions were issued by the firm to provide legal information.

The city paid Ancel Glink $7,250 for services rendered in June.

Correction: City Finance Director and Clerk Sue Ann Nelson said the bill did include the 7+ hour meeting in June, but not the July 14th regular city council meeting.
