The Bond County Farm Bureau held the annual crop tour Thursday afternoon.
WGEL’s Farm Reporter Joe Doll was there and he said everyone agreed that the soybeans would need a great deal of moisture to get them through the season and would require a late frost to have the predicted yield.
Joe said crop tour participants predicted an average of 154.5 bushels per acre for corn and 45.3 bushels for soybeans in Bond County. Volunteers divided Bond County up into quarters.
