Bond County Food Pantry Will Remain Open In Spite Of State Budget Concerns

While the discontinuance of meals served to senior citizens at the Bond County Senior Center may go in effect Friday, the food pantry at the center remains open.

Local contributions of food and money are essential for the pantry. Executive Director Anna Oestreich said she continues to seek sources of food for Bond County residents. Click below to hear more:

Oestreich said last month, the food pantry served about 850 people. The pantry is open Mondays and Thursdays from 1 to 3 p.m.
