Greenville has been ranked as one of the top ten small towns in Illinois in a new posting on a website called OnlyInYourState.com.
Greenville came in at #5 on the list, entitled “The Most Beautiful, Charming Small Towns In Illinois”. The listing noted that Greenville is one of Illinois’ oldest communities, celebrating its bicentennial this year. It mentions Greenville College and our many festivals and events, specifically the Greenville Graffiti Car Show.
The top four spots were filled by Galena, Mount Carroll, Fulton, and Morris. Coming in after Greenville were Nauvoo, Sycamore, Woodstock, Lebanon, and Elsah.
