Kaskaskia College To Present A Season of Entertainment

Kaskaskia College has announced its lineup of acts for the 2015-2016 Season of Entertainment, highlighted with a performance by country music legend Lee Greenwood.

The season begins October 9 with Cirque Zuma Zuma, an African-style dance troupe. The Christmas holiday show is the The Sicilian Tenors: Christmas Amore on December 19.

The McCartney Years, a tribute to Paul McCartney and his 70s band, Wings, will be at K.C. on March 18.

Travis Henson, co-director of the Season of Entertainment, told WGEL about a unique show that will be at the college on April 9.

“It’s called Artrageous,” said Henson. “It’s a mixture of music, art, and dance, all in one evening. It’s with a band. There’s a lot of dancing onstage. They’ll all be painting up on the stage…and they have audience participation. It’s going to be an exciting evening.”

Lee Greenwood’s show is scheduled for May 21.

Single tickets go on sale for each event September 16. Click HERE for more information, or call 545-3223.
