Law Dogs Hold Charity Motorcycle Show At Bond County Fair


The South Central Illinois Law Dogs held their first charity motorcycle show Saturday afternoon at the Bond County Fair.

The Law Dogs are a motorcycle club made up of current and former police, fire, EMS, and corrections workers from Bond and surrounding counties.

Law Dogs member Marc Waschle told WGEL they were pleased with the turnout for their first show. He expressed his gratitude to the event’s sponsors and to the community for their support. Click below to hear more:

The Best of Show award went to Dan Smith. Smith also won the Custom Class. Don Niehaus won the people’s choice award. Scott Horinka took first in the Bagger Class. Sabrina Sennette-Everland won first in the Cruiser Class. The Metric Class winner was Roger Sauder. The Best of Show winner was awarded a $250 cash prize and each class winner won $40.

Proceeds from the event will benefit the Bond County Food Pantry. Three of the class winners donated their winnings back to the food pantry.

The Law Dogs said they hope the motorcycle show becomes an annual event.
