New Greenville Chamber/Tourism Director Announced

New Greenville Chamber of Commerce & Greenville Tourism Director April Crew-Kelly

Monday was the first day on the job for the new Greenville Chamber of Commerce and Greenville Tourism director April Crew-Kelly.

She was selected by a committee consisting of Chamber and city representatives. The new director will be commuting from her residence in Ramsey. Her husband, Bill, is a Ramsey native. They met while in the Marine Corps where she served 14 years of active duty and was in the reserves six years.

Crew-Kelly said she was doing some promotional work for SIU-E when she heard about the Greenville position and applied. She said she and her husband like Greenville as a place to visit and participate in activities. She said she’s looking forward to digging in to the community to learn about it more specifically and using her skills in communication and community building. Click below to hear more:

Crew-Kelly replaces John Goldsmith, who resigned to become the marketing director for First National Bank.

She is looking forward to her new job with the Chamber of Commerce and Greenville Tourism. She said she sees it as a great opportunity and has enjoyed talking to Goldsmith, learning about how he’s grown the chamber in recent years. She believes there is continued potential to see Chamber growth. Click below to hear more of her comments:
