Shimkus Honors Greenville Bicentennial In U.S. House

Congressman John Shimkus has entered a statement into the permanent Congressional Record recognizing the 200th anniversary of the City of Greenville.

Shimkus said, “I extend my congratulations to the City of Greenville upon this special occasion. It is my prayer that the Lord blesses its residents with another 200 years of health and prosperity.”

The Congressman will participate in the Bicentennial Parade Sunday, September 6. The parade begins at 3 p.m.
