Unit 2 Board Takes Personnel Action

With school to begin next week, the Bond County Community Unit 2 board of education met in special session Tuesday night to take action on staff positions.

Juli Kastl of Greenville will return to the high school as a full time social studies teacher, filling the vacancy created by the resignation of Mike Young.

Anne Burton of Granite City was hired as a math teacher at the high school. She will teach four and one-half hours of math and oversee one period of resource study hall.

Stephanie Balducci of Greenville will be a half-time pre-kindergarten teacher in the blended program at Greenville Elementary School.

Nichole Becker of Marine and Tara Faulkner of Greenville were hired as special education aides at Greenville Elementary School.

The board accepted the resignations of Nicole Detmer and Andrea Moore-Wright as special education aides at GES and Anne Langham as volleyball coach at Greenville Jr. High School.
