Bicentennial Store To Be Open Over Celebration Weekend

During the Greenville Bicentennial Celebration the weekend of September 5&6, the Bicentennial Store, in the former Masonic building on the corner of 2nd and Main Streets, will have Greenville Bicentennial souvenirs including coins, hats, mugs, crocks, books, T-shirts, sweatshirts, baskets, and wrist bands. There will also be historical displays and local artwork.

After the Bicentennial, merchandise will be available at the Third Street Market through the end of the year.

The store will display vintage dresses and artifacts from Greenville’s Sesquicentennial celebration in 1965. The Bicentennial quilt will be on display along with several pieces of art, some of which will be for sale by silent auction, from the extensive collection of the late Lester Harnetiaux.
