Carol Lingley Inducted Into 4-H Hall Of Fame

Carol Lingley is the latest Bond County resident to be inducted into the Illinois 4-H Foundation’s Hall of Fame.

She was among 70 persons from Illinois receiving the honor during the state fair last month.

Lingley told WGEL the special day was a lot of fun. She started the day watching her grandchildren show sheep. During the ceremony, several 4-H members performed live music.

Carol said she had personally worked with some of the 4-H leaders who were recognized in the ceremony.
