Farm Credit Illinois Provides Meals In The Field

Farm Credit Illinois, in conjunction with National Farm Safety & Health Week, will provide meals to farm families during their annual Meals in the Field program.

Farm Credit Illinois staff will deliver meals to 75 farm locations over the course of this week and next.

WGEL Farm Reporter Joe Doll caught up with Mark Heimann, from the Farm Credit Illinois office in Highland, during a visit to the Jerry Gaffner farm Wednesday. Heimann said Farm Safety Week is a very important time and a good opportunity to remind farmers that safety is the most important thing.
