Greenville Native Returns From L.A. For Art Walk

Katy Gilmore

One of the featured artists at Friday night’s Our Common Ground Art Walk was Katy Gilmore, a former Greenville resident who now lives in California.

She is the daughter of Marcos and Karen Gilmore of Greenville.

Katy told WGEL she was honored to be invited as a guest artist in the Maves Center during Art Walk. Click below for more:

Katy said she’s been moving in a certain direction in her work, so it wasn’t too tough to decide what to display at Art Walk. Click below to hear her comments:

That wall drawing was an eye-catcher, stretching across most of the northeast wall of the art center.
