Alexandria LaFaye, associate professor of English at Greenville College, has written and released her 13th book.
“Pretty Omens” was written as a novel in verse with each chapter being poems.
According to LaFaye, it was another poet who suggested the form of “Pretty Omens”. She said it was a challenge, but she feels she has accomplished what she set out to do. Click below for more:
LaFaye said her book is based on the Myth of Cassandra from Greek mythology and it is set in Appalachia in Virginia. Click below to hear a synopsis of the book.
