Greenville Police Department August Report

The Greenville Police Department August activity report shows one burglary, one residential burglary, one theft over $500.00, two thefts under $500.00, one case of retail theft, and one incident of forgery.

There were two calls for criminal trespass, two incidents involving juveniles, and three cases involving possession or delivery of illegal drugs.

Officers wrote nine citations for uninsured motorist, made two arrests for driving under the influence of alcohol or drugs, and three arrests for illegal transportation or possession of alcohol.

They wrote 12 tickets for driver’s license violations, 12 speeding tickets, five for seat belt violations, and 14 for other traffic violations.

Officers made 57 traffic arrests and 26 criminal arrests.

They responded to ten traffic accidents, one with injuries.

Firefighters from local districts had 92 calls.
