Our Redeemer Hosts Cookout Fundraiser For Disaster Relief

Our Redeemer Lutheran Church in Greenville sponsored a fundraising cookout on Friday for the Lutheran Church Missouri Synod disaster response program.

The event was a success with money raised for the mission of the program.

Van Boatman, program team member, told WGEL the response team works in districts and helps anyone who is a victim of a disaster. “It’s all volunteer work,” he said. “We just do mercy work for the Lord Jesus.”
