PHOTOS: Historical Reenactments At Greenville Bicetennial

Believe it or not, we still have more photos to share from the Greenville Bicentennial, held earlier this month!

Saturday’s Bicentennial festivities included several historical-themed presentations. These included a skit by the Benjamin Mills Chapter of the DAR; Brian Ellis as Major Gen John A. “Black Jack” Logan; Kathryn Harris as Harriet Tubman; and Cowboy Randy & his rope tricks.

Several Greenville residents also dressed as local folks from our town’s history and participated in the cemetery tour. Famous residents portrayed by actors included the first president of Almira College (now Greenville College), Colonel John B. Reid, U.S. DeMoulin, and more.

Local actors included Cecilia Ulmer, Bill Ahern, Kevin Kaegy, Bill Donnell, John Goldsmith, Anthony Macon, and Cary Holman.
