Reverend Ken Bryant Recognized Upon Retirement

At a reception Sunday afternoon, Mayor Alan Gaffner declared it Ken Bryant Day in the City of Greenville.

Many area residents attended the event to wish Reverend Bryant well in his retirement, which officially begins September 1. Bryant has been the minister at the Greenville First Presbyterian Church since 1994.

Mayor Gaffner read a proclamation honoring Reverend Bryant.

The mayor commented on the many years that Bryant has been in the ministry, starting in 1977, and praised Bryant for his community service in Bond County including work with the Salvation Army, Ministerial Alliance, Lion’s Club, Toys For Joy and Greenville Regional Hospital Health Fair.
