Sunday Was DAR Day In Greenville

Sunday, October 18 was designated as Benjamin Mills Daughters of the American Revolution Day in the City of Greenville.

Mayor Alan Gaffner and the city council issued a proclamation at their meeting last Tuesday.

The national DAR association is celebrating its 125th anniversary this year, and the Benjamin Mills chapter has been in existence for more than 100 years.

Chapter officers include Virginia Wise as chaplain, Jeannette Dothager as regent, Lisa Stephens as vice-regent, Cindy Tischhauser as secretary, Diana Sanders as treasurer, and Karen Bauer-Reelitz as registrar and historian.
