Greenville Economic Development Director Adam Stroud at a recent Wednesday's Chamber meeting at Adam Bros. Music & Coffeehouse

The Greenville Chamber of Commerce met at the Adam Brothers Music & Coffeehouse Wednesday morning to hear from Adam Stroud, Economic Development Director for the City of Greenville.

WGEL visited with Adam following the meeting.

He told WGEL some businesses have recently shown some interest in the Industrial Park and he has been marketing the rail sites and road infrastructure.

As far as economic development for local businesses, Stroud says he will be meeting with business owners soon to see how the city can help them grow.

Stroud also told us there is a developer interested in the former Alco building, however the project has not moved forward.
