Camper A Total Loss Following Fire, Greenville & Shoal Creek Respond

At 3:06 p.m. Saturday the Shoal Creek Fire Department was called to what was reported as a mobile home fire in the 1600 block of Dorris Creek Road. The Greenville Fire Department also responded.

Assistant Greenville Fire Chief Jim Sutton told WGEL that upon arrival they found a camping trailer and the surrounding area burning. The camper was a total loss. The cause of the fire remains undetermined. No injuries were reported.
