GHS BLOCC Group Holding Candy Drive For Annual Trunk Or Treat

The Greenville High School BLOCC (Block) group is currently conducting a candy drive to hold a trunk or treat event for the public on Halloween night.

BLOCC stands for Building A Legacy of Comets With Character, and promotes good character by and among students.

Group sponsor, Laura Stowers, told WGEL the Trunk or Treat is in its first year and it’s gotten bigger each year.

Much of the success behind the events is due to the students, she said. Community members can also help by donating candy at the high school office.
